Avalon PALS - Mouse Practice
Page 2-10

Right Mouse Click The mouse has both a left and a right button. So far, we have only been using the left button. The difference between the buttons is:

  • The left button is for actions, such as activating buttons or selecting text
  • The right button gives choices of actions in a menu which appears next to the pointer

The right button gives different choices depending on where it is on the page. Windows calls this 'Context sensitive'. Notice how the menu changes when you right click on the white box. This white box is for entering text, so the menu shows actions associated with text.

1 Right click where requested
